About us - preserving hymns of the Christian faith one t shirt at a time

June 2018

About two years into this business and the mission and vision has not changed.  I just never realized that I would be one of those receiving encouragement. It is  a blessing to share hymns with people that love the Lord. I am so proud to see young people that want to be a witness to their friends by wearing a shirt that points them to Jesus!! This "business" has turned out to be the ministry I always hoped it would be.

I am thankful to my son for helping me with the design and printing during the start up. I am at a point now where I can take over the design and printing of the shirts myself. I welcome comments and suggestions. Just keep in mind that I am not doing shirts that are still copyrighted.

I am also thankful for my daughters in law.  They "volunteer" to help me with new designs, set up and stay with me at events (including heavy lifting and figuring out displays) and traveling long distances and staying in a hotel with me for several days.  Most of all I am proud of the way they can interact with people and at the end of the day God gets the glory for all that has been done.

I hope you will pray for us, follow me on Facebook or my website, visit the store, share my vision with others, and read my blog.  I welcome comments on the blog and would like to hear your stories of how specific hymns have touched your life.  Most of all I pray that  God is glorified, believers are encouraged and the word in hymns is a witness to the lost.

Colossians 3:17 whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus [and in dependence on Him], giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

My vision is that preserving these hymns will bring comfort, joy and encouragement to believers and that unbelievers will be drawn to this Jesus we sing about. Each shirt will have the "story" about the song along with the lyrics and the Bible scripture that shows  harmony with the theme of the song.

I am a retired nurse living in Tyler Texas and for several years have been trying to form a small T shirt business.  My son has been working with me on the design.  We have printed and scrapped many designs and he is patient to help me " get it right". My goal is to be able to sell online as well as attend craft fairs and gospel music events where I can fellowship with other believers as we encourage each other. We will be posting some of the new designs in the next few weeks. I also will have a blog where you can give me your ideas and suggestions for hymns you feel are a witness to you.

As a small child on my grandmother's lap, I loved hearing the singing of hymns in the church.  Even after more than sixty years those songs still ring in my mind throughout almost every day.  My love for Christ and His Word has given me a passion for preserving those old hymns.

There are some great  new hymns being written today but let's not forget those hymns written by the early leaders of  the church that are  a heritage of our Christian faith.

Psalms 146:2 I will praise the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God even with my dying breath.
